Ever since that fateful night that took almost everything from him 16 years ago, Tim Hillbow has dedicated his life to restoring peace to his planet. He, along with his adoptive brother, Paul Hillheim, fight a war against the tyrannical faction known as Death Saber, led by a man known as Alan Sagescar. For reasons beyond Tim's understanding, Alan is hell-bent on ruling Redwater and is willing to sacrifice anything to do it.

In the shadows, away from the petty squabbles of man sit the gods of Redwater, watching their subjects fight like children. Yet, they do nothing to stop them. Perhaps they don't deem it a significant enough war to intervene. Maybe it isn't that they aren't doing anything—rather, that they can't do anything.

No matter what Alan or the gods plan, Tim must save his planet, end the war, and get his happily ever after with his wife, Veronica. He’ll do it any way he can, from tooth and nail to sword and shield to even mystical powers that set Paul and him apart from the rest of the Resistance. One thing is for sure though: It's time to bring the fight to Death Saber.
